My husbands eyes lit up like a kid on Christmas morning when he opened this! (Why guy doesnt like guns and flames?!) He uses torches to clean up his 3d prints and was looking for a new one when I found this. The price and functionality is comparable to other torches but this one has that extra "Flair" that gives it a push to the top. The flame is adjustable and takes regular butane. And yes, you do pull the trigger to use the torch. The torch is easy to use and does have some weight to it, so if you are searching for a torch for your 80 year old frail Nana with the grip strength of gnat, you may want to go with a super lightweight option
